We are seeking a reliable and motivated Storeperson to join our busy manufacturing and operations team in Export Park, Adelaide. This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while supporting production and maintaining accurate inventory control. This role also supports the continued growth of the HMPS Propac service and spare parts business. With investment in a Vertical Lift Machine (VLM) to enhance spare parts storage and fulfilment capabilities, prior experience working with VLM systems in a customer service–focused spare parts environment will be highly regarded.
This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in organisation, accuracy, and working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, while also being capable of working autonomously within a strong team structure.
Key Responsibilities
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods, reporting any discrepancies or damage
• Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately and efficiently
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely (where licensed)
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure correct labelling and storage
• Conduct stocktakes and cycle counts
• Coordinate freight and courier movements
• Ensure warehouse areas are clean, organised, and safe
• Support production by supplying parts and materials as required
• Assist with returns, warranty items, and non-conforming goods
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and manual handling requirements
Successful candidates will have:
• Previous warehouse or storeperson experience (preferred)
• Forklift licence (highly regarded)
• Experience working with mechanical spare parts and an understanding of inventory management processes (highly regarded)
• Experience with Vertical Lift Machines (VLM) or automated storage systems in a spare parts environment (desirable)
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer skills for inventory systems
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
• Commitment to workplace safety
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
