“We are seeking a talented Project Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team at HMPS Group in Export Park, Adelaide. Under the supervision of the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple bespoke projects for HMPS customers, resulting in projects being delivered to specification, on time and on budget. You will demonstrate a high degree of independence in these duties, solving problems of your own initiative but seeking your managers and technical advice where needed, and keeping your manager informed where necessary. You will display a high level of client management and communication throughout the project. You must apply the highest level of confidentiality in all aspects of work.

Job Description

Your duties will include:

  • Managing all aspects of the project to agreed-upon requirements and ensuring all technical, quality, safety and financial targets are met
  • This role requires on-site presence/support for project management, coordination and commissioning
  • Onsite and offsite work until completion with some
  • Identifying, analysing and addressing project risks with regular sharing of lessons learnt
  • Build strong rapport and ongoing relationships with the client, as well as liaising with the key stakeholders, suppliers and subcontractors
  • Coordinate project task activities using MS Project to ensure project timelines are met

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Mechatronic preferred)
  • Engineering and Project Management experience (desired)
  • Proven experience in Project Management of mid-large size projects (desired)
  • Understanding of contractual requirements
  • Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS based applications: MS Project, Excel and Office”
